Did you know that this common kitchen ingredients is also good a pill? Well, it is according to a new study in the Journal of the American Society of Nephrology! Kidney function decline was about twwo-thirds slower in advanced chronic kidney disease patients who took a sodium bicarbonate pill than in patients who did not. They exhibited improved nutrition and had no problems associated with higher blood pressure despite sodium in the pill.
